The countryside

Maison Forestière is located in the beautiful nature reserve Parc des Monts d'Ardèche. The landscape is very varied: hills, forests, water, picturesque villages, not to mention a magnificent view of the Alps. Maison Forestière is located near Privas, the capital of the Ardèche. All amenities are available here, including theatre, cinema and swimming pool. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday morning and the flea market can be visited every first Sunday of the month.

The Ardèche has many places that are worth a visit. For example, the town of Aubenas, the Gerbier de Jonc from where the Loire rises, the very special Bois de Païolive, the place Vallon Pont d'Arc at the beginning of the Gorge de l'Ardèche where you can go kayaking or the medieval village of Vogüé.
